Another great read, keep it up!

MMORPG's are social, but only to a certain limit. Sure there is a higher chance of finding people alike yourself (nerds!), but managing to develop something into a rl-friendship is really hard. Heck, for me it has been hard enough to find anyone at all. You really can't get to know people when they hide all their ugly sides, just feels unnatural. Thus, making this game mostly a (as stated before) _heavy_ time sink.

Too bad, these games attract all kinds of people, so one is forced to take some bad apples along with the good apples. 
For the future, developers should definatelly take a closer look at what makes people quit/steer away from these games, for all parts.
